An Agreement between sirar by stc & Advanced Electronics Company SAMI-AEC to Localize cybersecurity products & services

To increase local content in the field of cybersecurity, and on the sidelines of the stc group’s participation in LEAP 2023, the cyber arm of the group sirar by stc signed a memorandum of understanding with the Advanced Electronics Company SAMI-AEC, a subsidiary of the Saudi Military Industries Company (SAMI) to establish a win-win partnership with the aim of exploring new opportunities in the field of cybersecurity.

The agreement has been signed by the CEO of sirar by stc, Eng. Fahad Aljutaily, while from the side of SAMI-AEC the CEO Eng. Ziad H. Al-Musallam was the one who signed it. As the agreement provides a cooperation between sirar by stc and SAMI-AEC in the shared striving of opportunities and the development of innovative cybersecurity solutions and services that add significant value to both parties.

On this occasion, Aljutaily commented: “We are proud to sign this agreement with Advanced Electronics Company, one of the pioneer national companies in the field of cybersecurity solutions. We hope that this agreement will contribute to empower the cooperation between the two parties in order to achieve the aspirations of our leadership in terms of digital transformation within the objectives of the kingdom 2030’s vision. Through this agreement, we will work together to upgrade products and services in cybersecurity solutions by adopting modern technologies to enhance cybersecurity and contribute to countering cyber threats, as well as to work together to localize cyber solutions and empower the digital infrastructure.

As we must mention that LEAP is the largest technical event in the world, which was held at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Convention Center during the period from 6-9 February 2023, with the participation of experts specializing in future technologies from all over the world, as the conference attracted more than 172,000 visitors, and was attended by more than 700 Speaker, the value of launches & investment tours exceeded more than 9 billion dollars, while the value of total investments amounted to 2 trillion dollars.
